Kathmandu: The tour starts with Pashupatinath, the popular Hindu Temple of Nepal, followed by wanderings around the Kathmandu Durbar Square and visits to the two famous Buddhists monuments Boudhanath and Swaymbhunathstupa. Pashupatinath, located in the east of Kathmandu City, is one of the holiest Hindu temples in Nepal that sits on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. The temple, devoted to Lord Shiva, is built in a pagoda style with fabulously carved silver doors. Wander around the durbar square and observe the palaces of the medieval Kings who ruled Nepal in ancient times. Swayambhu is one of the most popular world heritage sites in Nepal. Often referred to as the Monkey Temple, the place offers you the magnificent panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley. Boudhanath, one of the largest and holiest stupas in the world is yet another Buddhists shrine not to be missed.
